NumberCrossIQ is a strategic number placement puzzle game where two players take turns placing numbered tiles on a shared board. Points are scored based on which numbers you place and where you place them. The player with the highest score when the tiles run out wins.

Yes. NumberCrossIQ is completely free to play, both against the computer and against other players. There are no subscriptions and no pay-to-win mechanics.

Not to play against the computer: you can start a game in your browser right away. To play against friends you need to register a player name and a password, so that your friends can find you.

NumberCrossIQ is available on three platforms: iOS (iPhone and iPad via the App Store), Android (via Google Play), and directly in your browser as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at numbercrossiq.com. You can also install the web version to your home screen for an app-like experience without downloading anything from a store.

Your tiles must form sequences, where the values go up or down by exactly 1 at each step, horizontally or vertically. For each sequence you create or extend, you score the sum of all its tiles. Bonus squares can double a tile (DN), triple it (TN) or double the whole sequence (DC).

Each player has a hand of seven tiles with values from 1 to 7. You can see your own tiles but not your opponent's. On your turn you place one or more tiles, and your hand is refilled from the pot. The game ends when the tiles run out, or when both players have passed three times in a row.

Yes. Once a tile has been placed on the board you can still move or remove it, but when you press PLAY it is locked in and it becomes your opponent's turn. That is exactly why every decision in NumberCrossIQ matters so much: think carefully before you press PLAY!

If both players finish with the same score, the game is declared a draw. This is rare, but it can happen in evenly matched games.

In Single Player mode you play against an AI opponent. It's a great way to learn the rules, practise your strategy and get familiar with the scoring system without any time pressure. You can play as many solo games as you like, completely for free.

Multiplayer lets you challenge real players. Invite a friend by searching for their player name, or play against a random opponent. Players take turns making their moves until the game is over.

Yes! NumberCrossIQ supports play across platforms. An iOS player can play against an Android player or someone using the web version. Everyone plays on the same servers, whatever device or platform they use.

Single Player mode works offline once the app is installed. You do need to log out first, though. Multiplayer requires an internet connection, since it relies on real-time communication with other players.

NumberCrossIQ is fully translated into 15 languages: English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, Greek, Chinese and Japanese.
