NumberCrossIQ is a strategic number placement puzzle game where every decision matters. Players take turns placing numbered tiles on a shared grid, scoring points based on how their numbers interact with those already on the board.
Unlike traditional number puzzles that you solve alone, NumberCrossIQ is built for competition — play against a bot at your own pace, or challenge real players around the world in real-time multiplayer matches.
The game is free to play and available on iOS, Android, and directly in your browser as a Progressive Web App.

💭 The story behind NumberCrossIQ
NumberCrossIQ started from a simple frustration: most number puzzles are solitary. You solve a grid, close the app, and move on — there's no opponent, no back-and-forth, no moment where a clever placement actually outmaneuvers someone else.
At the same time, classic word-crossing games have proven for decades that turn-based tile placement on a shared board is deeply satisfying — you're not just filling in blanks, you're reading your opponent's options and planning two or three moves ahead.
NumberCrossIQ combines those two ideas: the sequencing logic of a number puzzle with the competitive, spatial tension of a tile-placement board game. The result is a game where quick mental arithmetic matters less than pattern recognition, positioning, and knowing when to block instead of score.
It's built and maintained by a single developer, which means updates are frequent and driven directly by player feedback rather than committee decisions.
🏆 Scoring & bonus squares
Every tile you place scores points based on its number and its position relative to already-placed tiles in the same row or column sequence. Placing a higher number next to a strong existing sequence multiplies your return — but the same spot is often exactly what your opponent wants too.
Special bonus squares add another layer of decision-making:
DN×2 doubles the value of the tile placed on it. TN×3 triples it. DC×2 doubles the total score of the entire sequence that tile belongs to — which can swing a game dramatically if you land it on a long, high-value run.
There's also a completion bonus: play all seven tiles from your hand in a single move and you earn an extra +30 points. Balancing greedy scoring against denying your opponent's best squares is where NumberCrossIQ's real strategy lives.

The game is supported by a one-time optional in-app purchase to unlock multiplayer — no subscriptions, no pay-to-win mechanics, no ads that interrupt gameplay.
